As a Mental Health Counselor I hold a passion for understanding attachment styles, promoting positive self talk, rationalizing the truth behind core beliefs and much more. I enjoy offering my clients a safe and non judgment space where I practice cognitive behavioral therapy, socratic questioning and motivational interviewing. Gaining a perspective on why we are experiencing irrational thinking is empowering, and brave. Late adolescence and early adulthood are among my favorite populations to work with, as well as couples therapy where I am mindful of maintaining a neutral space to best support the couple. I have experience in anxiety, depression, children of divorce, and relationship struggles. My goal is to validate my clients, ensure their achievement of personal goals, and creating a strong therapeutic alliance all while psycho-educating and taking a person centered approach.
A fun fact about me is that I’ve owned a small business for 5 years! I’m extremely creative, artistic and compassionately driven in all areas of my life, which translates into my therapeutic work.
