Sam McGrath

Clinician

MHC Intern

As a Masters of Mental Health Counseling Intern, I strive to provide constant support in the form of advocacy and treatment plans specific to a client’s needs in order to have clients meet their goals that they bring to therapy. Ensuring that anyone who attends therapy feels comfortable and heard is an aspect essential to my practice. Using a variety of methods for treatment such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered, Motivational Interviewing and aspects of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, I am able to work collaboratively with my clients to find what works best for them. I have a passion for working with children, teens and young adults struggling with anxiety and panic disorders while still allowing everyone a space to vent any grievances or stressors.

Outside of my sessions I enjoy spending time with my friends, cooking, and trying new coffee shops!
